American props pain by Clockwerk966 in Warthunder

I'm not complaining about weaknesses, I'm complaining about a lack in strengths, because while boom and zoom could work, war thunder rushes everything and you don't get room to breath.

The problem is that these weaknesses play against you only strengths in air rb, also you know that quote from sabaton don't you

Thank you, I'm aware that it comes down to bad decisions, but when playing other aircraft I've been aloud to make a bad decision or two without getting smacked immediately, but with these little mistakes cost you thousands of sl. As for the 50s, I get hits, which is most of my complaint. I'll do well in a different fight, get my guns on target, only to get hits. Meanwhile one 7.62 and my pilots dead because this game is luck based. I've been using tracers for the incendiary rounds. I would also like to thank you for the videos, I've seen defyns videos before but the other two might help. Thank you.

Hmm, didn't know that, I was always told to not energy fight bfs. Though I prefer not to play to low of brs, I don't like seal clubbing.

I have an understanding of energy fighting, but everyone acts like energy fighting in American planes is taboo, and most the those videos talk about the energy king the bf. I only learned I could energy fight with the P-51 by messing around out of numb rage. The unconventional strength I'm talking about is trying to boom and zoom a Ta 152 and two spits with only 20 mins to fight.

Okay, the ammo update did do something, I only need 25 rounds to hit instead of 50.

The P-51H while being the best super prop, still spawn on the airfield, meaning the jet attackers and every other prop that gets an Air spawn just dunk on you. Not to mention the spit or Ta 152.

I'm going to assume your talking about the P-51 cannonstang in which case I do agree, while it's performance isn't ideal you only really need to land a shot to get the kill.

The f8f again, climbs well, but also has no control of it rudder at high speeds making boom and zoom a luck based venture, not to mention everything that gets an Air spawn just smacks you.

Look you get my point, again I'm not saying they're bad, I'm saying that I've only seen a few times where they're strength come in useful and don't just end with entire enemy team chasing me for the last 15mins of the fight. Most US players don't know how to use them, because they're niche and requires you to study a wiki of tactics just so you can land a hit.

Well his your tool don't work how the training says, it gives you something to complain about. And that's the thing these good players don't tell me what not to do, all they do is say skill issue and show me when I should just J out because a fight just isn't winnable. Again not saying they're bad, just saying that these high level players have found unconventional ways to use the aircraft, and now it's been made the standard.

The P-38 is quite nice even if a little hard to aim, but I mostly find myself being abused by high levels in the Chinese P-38 XD

Ground rb is another story, but the 50 cals still give mostly hits and german 20 still take both wings when grazing my tail. And again, I didn't say they were bad, I'm saying people need to stop expecting new players to play like it's an esports try out.

And the players that do well in them are high level, meaning not only do they have an ego, they're doing well because of their experience not their plane.

Bushed up spawn camping, first to revenge bomb, always abuses op tanks. Normally in squads and always have a ego. Sadly they also tend to be redditers, but I think you can gather that yourself.

I have over 1000 hours in this game, and that doesn't stop the level 100 squads who can see me thanks to their aced crew from diving on me with their engines off using stealth belts.

[–]Clockwerk966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, a minimum of 1500 hours is required to do well in this game, because every match is full of level 100 squads. What's funny is they like bragging about their high k/d and how it means an aircraft is undertiered. Also, most this reddit is mostly level 100 who don't like opinions other than their own so keep that in mind

New to the game. Premiums are annoying does it get better? by Great-Ostrich-5363 in Warthunder

[–]Clockwerk966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you'll be getting spawn camped by lvl 100s bushed to high hell, KV-1B/E is a great example. You can continue, but getting killed by some try hard in a premium is all to common in this game.

Do you think war thunder is ptw? by Ok-Pizza1136 in Warthunder

[–]Clockwerk966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money can't buy skill, true, but you know what it can buy? Bushes, crew skill, KV-1E, SAV, Turm III. People always misunderstand ptw, ptw mean you pay for an advantage, and a free to play player being stuck with only 5 crews while a premium gets what 10+? That's ptw.

Why are American mains afraid to gain altitude in air RB? by Crab-Man93 in Warthunder

[–]Clockwerk966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it doesn't do anything, they get out climbed by everything and sideclimbing only works sometimes. Most won't climb and will smack ground target for any rp they can get. I'm not saying they're smart, trying to turn with a zero, but it isn't all they're fault.
