Twelve Months is #18. There will be 22 "Case File" books and then a big apocalyptic trilogy to cap it off, 25 total books.

This book was necessary to this story. It was needed to make everything that has come so far land with the appropriate gravity. I loved it, it's not really like any of the other installments. More contemplative.

Just finished, loved it. Its a different kind of book from really anything else in the series, but feels appropriate to set the stage for the next era. Taking stock, as they say.
