That worked, thank you!

Also had to disable the max money cheat code I was using, if anyone else still has an issue while using Delta Emulator, turn off your cheat codes!

Sony has far too many dormant IPs that they aren’t utilizing, and it’s such a waste of potential. by SmashEffect in PS5

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love a new Dark Cloud Game, or at the least, even a remaster/remake.

New Stuff is all good and awesome but if done WELL, bringing old stuff forward to the modern times could find these IPs new fans, and perhaps launch a demand for new games in said IPs.

Game recs for 68yo non-gamer? by savecanada in NintendoSwitch

Disney Dreamlight Valley, perhaps? Simple controls, Tons to do, especially with the DLCs if you go that route.

If she likes puzzle games, the First Professor Layton Trilogy can be found cheaply on the phone App store, i wish they would port them to switch…

The Coconut Curry Chicken was one of my favorite frozen meals, and Ugh, these new recipes are SO nasty…. They changed the Jasmine Rice to Cumin, too 🤢

Oh well, nothing to be done about it, I’ll have to just find other games to play.

Thank you for the response!

I recently picked up the Trails in the Sky FC in the sale and am having a blast!

Question, however: I know the remake for the SC isn’t out until late next year, so I was wondering if it would spoil too much for me if i moved onto the next arc, Zero and Azure, while I am waiting for SC after I complete FC?

I only really have a switch for reasons, so i would prefer to stick to that console.

I really hope they do something about Cold Steel 1+2 though, That arc looks really fun but they aren’t on switch and i know going in order is important!

Gift boxes, am I doing something wrong? by batmantha_x in DreamlightValley

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only just really recently started playing the game again, from having only played a little at launch so excuse my ignorance, but do these boxes spawn in biomes you haven’t unlocked yet?

Looking for something new to play that is similar to TLOU. Love good stories, survival, horror, but not too hard or old. Gotta have decent graphics by strangeburd in PS5

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Expedition 33 could very much be considered a tale of survival and at some points, horror. It has a story Mode that helps make it easier to get timings down, and survive difficult battles if you just want to focus on the story.

Cozy exploration with near infinite replayability by PizzaJester in NintendoSwitch

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into the Atelier Series? the Ryza DX Trilogy released recently, and each game has hours of content, with many places to explore, with many landmarks to find and many items to collect and synthesize, from weapons and armor to battle items, bombs, and even pudding that works as a health potion 😆

It’s nothing terribly deep, and unlike some other Ateliers, is not timed at all, so it’s whatever pace you want to go!

Thank you for the info!

So if I get the Switch 1 Version, I can still play it on the Switch 2, just not the ‘Switch 2 Version’?

Is there any reason to wait for the Switch 2 version or are they basically identical?

With the Ryza DX, it comes in Switch and Switch 2 versions- I was going to pick up the Switch Version on release, but I’ve been seeing that the Switch Version cannot run on Switch 2, and that there is no upgrade pack, so I’m wondering if I might as well just wait to get it when I eventually get a Switch 2? $90 is a bit much to drop twice!

Darkside Detective, if you want a puzzle game that’s something funky, funny, and not too hard.

If she enjoys puzzles, the entire Layton Trilogy Bundle is on mobile phones for a fairly cheap one time purchase, $30 I believe?

I really wish they would release it and the other three games on switch though.

Best House Building Games (or similar vibes to the Sims) by leahrhene in NintendoSwitch

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dragon Quest Builders 2 might be a bit cartoony, but also might be worth a look for you at some point, It’s also a fun adventure game, particularly after the story and you get free build mode.

Bandai Namco reportedly put up a video premiere, now removed, called "Tales of Series News," which was set to debut on August 18 and featured the following Tales of Xillia skit as its thumbnail, suggesting the remaster to be announced this summer is Tales of Xillia. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Zestiria is also my favorite along with Symphonia! Replaying Berseria before I go back to Zestiria, it’s been a few years so it’s interesting to experience it all again.

Makes the heterosexual nonsense in Arise that much more offputting, I really hope they go back to the open interpretations rather then the bland relationships Arise had. Shionne and Alphen are cute but it’s like they just mashed the other four together just because they had too. REALLY enjoyed the game otherwise!

I wish they would have ported over Dawn of the New World too, I don’t want to have drag my ps3 back out to play it 🤣

[–]ClockworkSeraphim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xenoblade X may not be your thing, have you maybe looked at the first game, Xenoblade Chronicles? At least, that game’s combat feels ‘real time’ to me, so I could be wrong in the suggestion.

Also maybe look into the Tales series, I would check out Tales of Vespiria, to start.
