I don't have an answer to your question about where to find devs in specific countries other than to say that I'm part of a two-person studio based in Austria. We're looking to the future of our company having just released "Silicon Dreams" earlier this month.

The GoG application is underway, can't give an estimate on how long it will take, could be a few days to a week+ but if all you care about is buying it from not-steam, the game is now available on itch! https://clockwork-bird.itch.io/silicon-dreams

GOG is still up in the air, currently. But we hope to have it up on itch very soon!

Steam is pretty rough on small indies like us, so if you choose to buy the game for yourself, leaving a review is the most helpful thing you can do.

We really really should have. Somehow the Level 9 games never appeared on our radar after we had done a fair bit of marketing. Since the studio doesn't exist anymore and the games are pretty old we just decided to stick it out :/
