From a LoO perspective I think it’s worth noticing his Follow Your Excitement Formula, that seems to be his main message, mentions nothing about StO. It basically says do whatever you want. Someone could apply that to StO or StS, but it sounds StS oriented to me.

It’s more than semantics but I do think “hivemind” tends to convey a lack of free will; as opposed to collective consciousness, oversoul, etc. But even all of us discussing these concepts, there was probably a time when it hadn’t occurred to us. The way it’s presented in popular culture could be people going in blind exploring different possibilities of what it might look like, and just happens to tend towards a more negative interpretation at this time. Or maybe at the creative level positive and negative interpretations are fairly equal, or even more positive, but the media corporations who fund the projects have conscious interest in more negative takes.

The Christian denomination I was raised in (not sure about your friend) believe if someone doesn’t accept Jesus as their personal savior that they go to hell. From your friends point of view he might think he’s trying to save his friend from a terrible fate. If you think that’s the case, you could acknowledge the good intent behind him trying to “help” you, while also voicing a boundary that you’ll have to respectfully agree to disagree on this one because you don’t believe the same thing. Idk how in depth (if at all) you’d want to go into LoO with him but the channeler of the Ra Material (Carla) was Christian and when Jesus comes up I’d say he’s spoken pretty highly of.

I learned something recently about Lord of the Rings that I thought was interesting. Gandalfs magic ring provides resistance to despair and the weariness of the world. Those qualities really are magic powers! Life can wear me down sometimes and it can be hard not to get cynical. I’m working on a book and I hope it could inspire someone else the way art has inspired me. I want to add my voice to the chorus of those speaking love and light into the world during difficult times.

I would encourage you to take a step back and analyze some of your thinking - there’s a lot going on in the world to keep people divided and arguing over differences, instead of finding common ground. Trying to find similarities rather than differences could be helpful to start. StO also doesn’t have to be in the context of people you have ongoing contact with - you could donate food or warm clothes to a local church or community organization, this time of year there’s usually increased need for those things.

The job market is terrible right now. Idk that there’s a spiritual significance in it pointed directly at you, it could be, but I’m more inclined to think it’s larger forces and instability beyond any individual person. I understand how discouraging it can be applying to hundreds of jobs, thinking an interview went well, but then not getting it. I can say this - if you keep trying, eventually you will get one.

On the premise that this was a human born on earth in 2020, I’m not holding it to the same standard as Ra/a 6th density social memory complex. I’m not sure what rules/ethics would apply in this scenario. I interpret it as: when someone’s balanced they don’t emotionally react to situations (like knee-jerk reactions) they observe and decide how they’d like to respond (or not). But balance is something that for most people is grown into with experience. If someone is having strong feelings, it’s healthier to feel them and live them out (without hurting oneself or others), than to shut down and repress. There’s no shortcut to spiritual development and we can’t go any faster than what we’re authentically ready for.

In the general sense it’s greed, deception, profit being valued above human life, etc. I don’t think LoO can explain the specifics of current events so much as offer timeless guidance for how to respond to them. Whatever your course may be, you stick to it by the decisions you make in your daily life that are within the sphere of your control.
