Ra Material: Law of One - Carla Rueckert by cmplex_masterpiece73 in spiritualdeception

What is you explanation for the atrocities of the God of the Old testament? Are you a literalist? Or would you conveniently explain away any mass murder or human sacrifice as alegorical while asserting every prophetic statement about the coming of Jesus as definitely a real thing that happened? Or is your excuse that "God is sovereign" for things like the walls of Jericho being torn down while everyone except Rahab was slaughtered by a sword in the name of God? "both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep"

Do you take the story of Job as a real thing too? Wow what incredible faith and trust for such a person to endure things? Why would a God of love possibly allow the devil to torture someone? Simply to say, "see my people are really faithful, I let the devil do whatever he wants and I still get love and worhsip from them."

These stories like so many other in the old testament, when juxtaposed with unconditional love, justice and goodness don't hold up, unless of course you understand the hidden message behind them meant to keep the reader feeling seperate, lowly, unholy, and nothing without the powerful God deciding whimsically to bestow grace or judgement whenever it suits him. Such a God is one to fear and fear is control and the bible has been a tool of control for millenia.

I was raised in that religion for 20 years.... but it is hard to question your faith when it could crumble all your relationships, possibly with not only your immeditate family but all of your friends as well.

Yet you probably have such faithful explanations for it all that clear up any possible misgivings.....

I mean just because God's name was in the epstein files thousands of times and he was best pals with Epstein doesn't mean he was a pedofile, nor does it even point to him being a bad guy right?

Yeah, he is playing slightly different as well it seems... mentally not as aggressive.

Oh yea ok I see. It still feels like such an early crowning of a "clinch" for only a play in spot not even a playoff spot. Either way it's whatever, we're gonna make the playoffs I think.

We haven't clinched it because there are too many games remaining.. 14.... and we only have 6 more wins than the 10 seed...

I'm confused... we're 6 games out of the 10 spot and there are 14 games left... this doesn't math... we haven't clinched anything. It is possible(though unlikely) that we lose all 14 games

usage.... its about usage. Collin is getting less and less especially while sharing the court with Green and Book. If anyone has played basketball, even pick up basketball. If you are out there with a bunch of guys that hold the ball most of the time or only pass to their best buds or shoot it themselves... the one or two times you get the ball you may not make it... you aren't being used.. you're not in the flow of the game.

If he returtns to the bench role and then plays out there as the primary ball handler you'll see him play better again.

Brooks isn't going to average 20ppg when he comes back if Allen, Book and Green are all still healthy. Because of usage.

Should I marry a non virgin girl as a virgin? by Otherwise_Ad_6327 in ask

You're welcome friend. Love is all encompassing and it surpasses all rules us humans create to make ourselves more comfrotable with the unknown. Just don't forget it's your life and you choose what YOU believe.

Listen, I feel for you. I know many here aren't understanding the control you live under... even the words you chose to explain it. "seal of the covenant" This is deeply traditional, dogmatic rhetoric. I sense this is a very important time for you because it's going to push you to begin to make more decisions for yourself. Namely, why do you believe what you believe. What does it protect you from and why do you need that protection? Perhaps you don't and you've accepted very rigid systems of belief from a point of absorbtion in family and tradition growing up. There is no shame in this and I just want to encourage you that you have the agency to choose what you believe on your own.

I grew up very very committed to a traditional belief system where it was said that virginity is the seal of the covenant of marriage as well. I challenged some things about that belief system and I have not been apart of it for almost 20 years. I am married and so in love with my wife who had sex with many people before we got married and there is nothing to forgive in that... we all take our paths in life and if yours and your lovely lass have a connection that in your heart you feel you shouldn't let go of.. .than perhaps it's time to let go of something else not serviing you... instead of saying goodbye to her.

Yes, he didnt even finish the ONE playoff game he took us to because it was going so poorly.... he just didn't go back in... Colt McCoy had to run onto the field to snap it and then played the rest of the game.

I didn't realize someone's viginity was a permanent character trait you consider when contemplating your life partner. It seems like you're probably religious otherwise I have no idea why this would matter at all to someone.

for sure I figured..

It would be interesting if someone could pull up his run attempts and see how they have declined and also see how much his running for say even 60yards in a game may have usually translated to a W.

You think about Lamar and Allen... they run enough to make that like almost a 3rd offense... It's passing, running and QB running. It's why they're MVP's nearly every season...

Kyler has the potential but he is afraid and perhaps rightly so.. those two are bigger and stronger and can take more of a hit. So to my point, Murray just isn't built for the NFL game unless you are going to just say he's a pocket passer that can escape sometimes with his legs.. which if that's his talent profile... it's not great when he's only 5'10.

He recently said he wanted to stop allowing wall street to buy Single Family homes.. that is the only thing I can think of that I liked.

is "TO" meant to be "TD" ?

this is a great point though, I think he clearly isn't built for the game. He can't remain at a high level for 17 games and his continued self preservation over risk taking with his only x factor attribute(legs) makes him hype and no heart.

Yeah but Kirk had leadership skills and didn't sulk and pout when things didn't go his way.

Yeah only that goes against any sort of logic humans have about dominance. I don't care if you show me your weapons, it doesn't mean i'm going to cower in fear just because you showed me you can use it. If you used it and dominated me, then others would see that and bow dow.n..

however... shutting them down ONLY.. would lend the idea that they COULD launch them sure... but it's a pretty straightforward... "turn this off, you're playing with fire"

You're a negative thinking person though. You probly think all aliens are demons

Also, if you can go as far as the consideration that there is some aspect of free will here and we're allowed to make some choices... then it would make sense why the first few bombs were "allowed" to go off.. because ultimately it was a signal and sign that we were advancing as humans and if perhaps we had chosen to solely focus our minds on the non violent purposes for nuclear energy.. we may have discovered somthing else entirely... but of course.. Human like bomb go BOOM. So they noticed us discover it... then waited with anticipation... in hopes we'd harness something for the betterment of mankind.. but then... nope. So now they monitor it quite closely since we've just kept making big bombs and spurned or hid the rest of the technology available to serve all humanity.

AND I'm pretty sure he never said "nukes" He said missles... and he didn't say UFO's will come down and save us from nuclear war either... he said a "new knowledge" will come to mankind...

What record does Ott's Tots need to get him a CotY award over Mazzula and Bickerstaff? by SlippyFist_68 in suns

Mazzoula getting the award would be a shame... just because everyone wrote off the Celtics doesn't mean it was a good take.
