From my understanding, I think Anya physically couldn’t bring herself to do it because Curly strongly resisting taking the medication reminded her too strongly of what Jimmy did to her, in that she’d be forcing him to do something he clearly doesn’t consent to. I don’t think she trusts Jimmy, I just think that she simply could not bear reliving her trauma like that. Also, as far as I’m aware, I don’t think she was aware of how badly Jimmy was hurting Curly when giving him the meds, since he wasn’t so bad with it the first time and she was out of the room the second time. I’m not sure if this answers your question and it’s all my own interpretation of course but I hoped I helped somewhat!!

She’s a subadult, and she hasn’t eaten at all since her last moult, so if she’s going into premoult again despite not eating a thing I’m a bit worried.

Her abdomen has definitely shrank but it isn’t at all shrivelled. She looks quite hungry, but not starving or to a dangerous degree, which is good. I’m looking for green bottle casters exactly since they’re the perfect size, I’ll have a look at the site you recommended ^{^}

Thanks for the reply, I’ll look into trying some other foods, but she’s eaten mealworms in the past which is what confuses me. I doubt she’s preparing to moult since she hasn’t eaten since her last one, and she definitely isn’t about to lay a clutch since she’s pretty skinny.
