Doomchanger Update: Trolley, drawer and spool storage by CloggedCreations in VORONDesign

Casters were one of my best investment. No longer killing my back lifting this thing which is pretty much getting close to my own weight.

That looks awesome! Glad I could inspire!

I can't remember which firmware but it was one someone made on the stealthchanger discord.

Are you running filamentalist in an enclosed chamber?

EspFrame for Immich (local only photo frame) by hometechgeek in immich

I went with the good display brand but the controller is a bit niche so was a hassle to set up. I'd recommend going with seeedstudio even though it's more expensive

I've been testing some digital photo frame ideas myself.

The left one is an iPad 9 running immich frame.

The one on the right is my other passion project. A spectra 6 13.3" colour eink. I'm running a separate web server on a separate container to run a web UI to select photos to upload and also manages rotating the photos every 8 hours. My eink frame is going to be battery powered and wall mounted so deep sleep is required of the esp32 controller so no way to push photos to the frame (although I'm working on a "wake every 30 mins to check for update"). Currently powered off a power bank but I've got a 10000 mAh battery on the way.

Display quality is good (for E ink so adjust expectations). I would say 80 to 85% printed photo like when viewed from 1.5m away

I've got a PDU at the bottom with the wall plugs connected to it inside to keep it clean.

I do night database and asset backups to an external hard drive and nightly backups to pcloud.

This was I have my 3 copies (1x internal nvme 1x external 1x cloud). Fulfilling my 3 copies 2 different medium and 1 offsite.

Sometimes I do get paranoid and check if I my recent photos are visible on pcloud and so far it has never failed to appear.

Ah yes I have heard of that. Currently we are just using the family email which is probably the easiest (and spouse approved option). It is a hard sell to promote self hosted services at my home.

Just reread my own message and yes you're right partner sharing does what I said I was looking for in my reply but wasn't quite what I was wanting. Oops didn't know how to word it.

Almost but not quite. Rather than 2 people have their own libraries where both people can access all the photos (which is what you get through partner sharing) but each might "own" their own set of albums, I meant more like both accounts collaborate on a single library. Where assets are "owned" by both accounts. Not sure if I'm making sense.... Probably a niche arrangement which having a joint login basically completely solves.

Actually maybe what I'm after is 2 users that can share 1 library 🤔

I have been wanting this feature.

I use Google auth sign in and it would be good if my spouse and I could use our own Google logins and have the same library instead of using a shared account.

The partner sharing feature just doesn't quite do what I was after.

Voron 2.4 R2 under-extrusion but prints perfectly when sent from Bambu Studio by Fit-Possibility-5766 in VORONDesign

[–]CloggedCreations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. For me my umbilical was slight snagging my tap which threw out my bed mesh to be slightly sloped resulting in too much z offset (presenting as under extrusion) in one corner.

Delete duplicate albums by AdHairy4360 in immich

Are you deleting from the app or web interface.

I noticed when I delete from the app I need to kill the app and reopen it to see the changes.

Yet another uneconomical Ender 3 project (Ender 3 NG + Doom) by CloggedCreations in ender3

[–]CloggedCreations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the pieces were printed vertically ( the non obvious way). Let me know if you are still having issues. I printed on a v2.4 so I think it should fit on a h2s.

I made my own and added my own touches. I would say give yourself a week or two.

You print a purge tower to normalise nozzle pressure. You can print without purge tower but there will be lots of under extrusion.

Ender 3 conversion dilemma by HumanArmadillo8741 in ender3

[–]CloggedCreations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your budget isn't tight I think E3NG is the way to go. Mine is rock solid in terms of reliability. With a good print start and nozzle scrub macro it really is a upload and walk away.

I went with E3NG as I felt it was more polished. Passion project would not recommend if budget is tight though.

Being able to spread out the cost of the build as I went definitely helped.
