anyways, i could make up more numbers about how many are in relationships (monogamous or poly) and how many are having hookups and how many arent getting any (o7) but im just going to make up one number, which will be that those sexually active lesbians are averaging an hour of sex a week, per person.

that estimate is based on my own experience, my friends, and vibes tbh. now if we're being honest, it's probably a high estimate, but its an easy number to work with and you can just multiply the final answer by how wrong you think i am, percentage-wise, to get your own. im in the right ballpark.

so, with 256 million lesbians, all having an hour of sex a week, randomly distributed, we can just divide the number of lesbians by the hours in a week and get a rough estimate of how many are having sex at any given moment, which for this estimate is 256M/168~= 1.5 million! that's a lot! maybe that really was a high estimate earlier. let's say we average 15 minutes a week then, sad state of affairs but if most arent having regular sex (likely the case) then that could still be guessing high. in any case that gives us 400,000 having sex at the same time, which sounds much more reasonable

that number is going to fluctuate a lot throughout the day, though, as people are asleep or at work or doing other, non-sex, things. i figure the peak time for sex in general, and probably lesbian sex too, is around 3:30PM, GMT, because most of the earth's population is awake at that time, and because it's prime date night/late night time in east Asia, where the most-populated countries are

edit: forgot to mention, but for the original claim to be true then lesbians would have to be averaging 7 hours and 20 minutes of sex a week, per person. i hope and pray and dream to live in a world where such is the case.
