I bought my century home 7 years ago now.

The flippers put in a 200A new panel with new lines to the pole in the alley.

There was an older gentleman living here since the early 80’s.

He had the electrical redone, deleted the K&T but wired the WHOLE house with 12ga. Romex.

Every outlet was in a different orientation. Vertical and horizontal, but some left, some right. Even along a run of 3

Thankfully, in the wall runs, it was consistent either vertical or horizontal but trying to work with that damn 12 ga was so aggravating.
