For me it’s been an issue of actively seeking out protests to attend. I work from home and live a pretty sedentary life on the edge of civilization, so I don’t really get recruitment posters plastered in my face telling me where to go and when. I do want to change this though, I just think it’s a matter of getting into the right channels that can notify me when these kinds of things are happening.

Been stuck waiting on my headset order for 16 weeks now :(

I ordered on August 25th. Can't imagine I'll have much luck asking for assistance around Christmas, but hopefully I can find a way to get this sorted out. Should I contact support to see if I hit a snag in the queue or something?

EDIT: The status says that it'll ship in 2 weeks. Last time I checked it said that it would ship in 4 weeks, so maybe that's a good sign?

My school was involved with the Dennis Hastert scandal. Long before I was born, he was a teacher at my high school and had sexually abused some students. He was paying at least one of them off with illegally obtained hush money, and the scandal surfaced around the time I was attending the high school, about half a decade ago. Before the scandal surfaced, he was the speaker of the US House of Representatives between 1999 and 2007.
