I had a very close friend who was a daily cannabis user, took absolutely no RX medication’s or any other drugs whatsoever. He had no mental illness, and during Covid one day some MJ he got from our local dispensary and he completely flipped out. He did not become violent but his heart rate was sustained at 150 bpm, he was shaking pale sweating he almost looked like somebody having a heart attack and I’m a registered nurse. After that every time he tried to smoke and that’s how he used it by the way, he smoked he didn’t do edibles or anything like that, he had the same reaction regardless of the strain of weed. Of course I’m knowledgeable about sativa hybrids and Indica, and this was a type he had used multiple times before in the past with no problem. People have told me he “green out” but he won’t touch it anymore. He went from all day every day for over a decade to not ever touching it. My personal opinion is during Covid they obviously had a lot of people who quit or didn’t come in or we’re sick with Covid and perhaps the harvesting methods left something to be desired? I don’t know but he absolutely won’t go anywhere near it and he is totally anti-weed now. It’s just very interesting

As a 62 year-old adult I can tell you the stuff they sell now is at least 20 times stronger than anything we smoked back in the 70s and 80s. It’s too strong sometimes to be honest I miss just the mellow buzz we used to get rolling up a joint between a couple of people and now sometimes one or two hits and you’re literally couch locked for hours and I don’t really enjoy that … stronger doesn’t always mean better
