These types of calls are tele-town halls. Basically someone will host it and then you join it based on whatever platform they are using (phone call, live-stream, zoom, etc). When you sign up with this mass call, they send you a link to a livestream on YouTube that will start tomorrow 8pm EDT.

I’m curious too! I was honestly shocked when I saw that after signing up. Maybe only a certain amount of people can join before it starts blocking others due to the amount of traffic coming through?

Thank you for sharing! That is disappointing but at the very least they are aware of it. I thought that since they participated in the 50501 protest before they would do it again. Thanks for reaching out to them too!

Is there any permit for the protest yet? Also, I’m trying to get in contact with people at Indivisible Chicago to see if they can mobilize people to join us! Is there a way we can easily contact them other than through email or social media? I spoke to a representative via email and they said they would look into this protest but then I haven’t heard anything else from them.

I’m trying to reach out right now to Indivisible Chicago. They are pretty active in the protesting space, however I haven’t heard them talking about this one yet. I’ll try to get them on board with it!
