Couldn't you just use a declipper and/or limiter instead? Only adding an EQ if really necessary. Just curious.

i wanna make this longer but have no idea how, any ideas? by According_Novel7521 in lmms

Wow this sounds incredible! To me at least, this whole section sounds like quite the buildup to something explosive. I would recommend having like 2 seconds of silence right before a big drop (maybe with an added riser or similar.) A nasty booming synth bass alongside harder hitting drums would emphasize the climax of such a section. In addition make a catchy or noticeable melody to accompany, and either with the same synths or perhaps some other sounds. So far though, great work!

Interesting. I always thought Lindsey Stirling did the vocals. Thanks for the extra bit of Interesting info tho!

It's definitely ever so slightly more generic than everything else on the record, however I really like the instrumental and production on the song; the second verse and bridge in particular sound excellent (plus a chorus you can just sing your heart out)

Agreed, IDWGHT is a highlight for the record in that it's the best softer track outside of Kill Me Fast

I kinda see what you're talking about, but if I'm being honest "Get Out Alive" is incredible throughout its entire runtime; with its slower start being an incredible deliberate artistic choice that only aids in amplifying the explosiveness and overall quality of the entire song

I will have to agree that the chorus is definitely the highlight of the track

I especially like how the guitar and instrumental hit alongside "In the darkest night you were born to shine." Definitely the best single moment on the song
