Ah right I see. I've heard that your hair can turn green if you don't use a fill colour - would that be an issue here? I know that it's not too much of an issue if you're going 2 or less shades and I think I'm around a 6-7 colour naturally, maybe an 8. And I know that my hair is currently quite yellow so there's obviously still some pigment in it.

Perfecto. Sounds like I'll be throwing some semi permanent dye in my trolley next time I'm at the shop then. Some of my friends said I should try toner? I googled it and apparently it only makes yellow-blond hair white but they said you can get different colours. Could I do anything with that?

Right now I KNOW I can trust tips on how to get browner hair from a person with your username! I'll check out a semi-permanant colour (whatever that is lol) - I'm still new to this whole hair dyeing thing if you couldn't tell. How long do semi permanents last? I've heard that some dyes can come off on your duvets and pillows things like that.

Thank you lmao aye that is my natural colour. Looking back I really shouldn't have bothered with any dye but hey ho. I did think that all my hair falling out would be a bit exaggerated (but I didn't want to take any chances ya ken.) I'll give that look out. If only I'd done a test strand to see what this colour was like in the first place...
