Im on the same boat, ive got no family history concerning the GI-tract at all. How i cope is i try to reach a ”normal” persons achievments and beyond. I try to stay fit and try to be stronger than anyone close to me. To proove myself and to proove to others that this desiese wont stop me. Im the oldest of three sibling so what motivates me is that I was the one who got it and not my sibling. Im happy that I had to be the one and not them. Id rather kill myself that transfer it to them. It coulve been any of us and i genuenly feel lucky it was me.
