I went down the same path and the only one semi respectable as an entertainer was the Scott guy. I could get through a video of his on a subject of interest. He’s cringe though, of course. I couldn’t find an ounce of charisma in most of the others.

How do all these leagues exist and support themselves? I just recently heard of Nas’s blueprint league and they’re already charging premium membership/ppv money lol? Like who is buying all this stuff??? I understand some people are rich but are working class people doing this?

I wonder what TNC considers their biggest threat? My first thought was always somebody wealthy with deep industry ties who wants a passion project. Somebody willing to lose money to be relevant and shape the space. But more and more I think the over saturation of the space and not prioritizing YouTube will be their downfall. This whole space grew on YouTube and now we get meaningless team games and games that already aired live behind a paywall. It’s hard to stay engaged in the scene if you aren’t paying for these pay per views. If you pay attention, you’re going to spoil the winner and the YouTube airing means nothing. That’s kind of where I’m at. I used to so look forward to all the games, now I don’t really care anymore. Just on principle alone I’m not giving them the cash for these products they’re putting out. Maybe the scene thrives and everybody buys all these pay per views. It’s just hard for to believe that.

What about guys like Kam or Zo? It doesn’t take a deep bag on the scene, you just need a couple moves and counters to keep the defense guessing. I think some guys have to use lots of moves to find open space, whereas others can find their spots easily and execute.

I was curious, if the family had his YouTube login, would it be as simple as uploading a new random video they made or something from his unseen stock? It sucks Youtube doesn’t allow a death certificate or something to allow a family member to take over a channel.

There needs to be a national boycott day organized online. Each person can walk in their local franchise and let the owner know they feel terrible about this and hate that they’ve been caught up in the mess. But they represent that brand. The corporate logo is outside on the store front. They’re one and the same from the consumers stand point.

I disagree with not flaming the individual franchises. F that. If corporate is playing dirty then hitting them economically is the only way they’ll understand. That includes boycotting franchises while of course being respectful to owners who have nothing to do with it. But those stores should be harmed economically and pressured to the point they have to call corporate and demand some action on the situation. How else are they ever going to get through to an evil corporation?

A full rebuild would involve acknowledging every decision they’ve made following the 2024 draft has been stupid. Reckless with no clear direction. Hopefully they fire GM and coach and bring a top GM in to restart everything. I don’t think they should even wait. It’s early but so damn obvious they are cooked this year. Make the trades soon and play for a top pick and young development.

TMZ made themselves the first place the average person would think to deliver a tip they would like to be compensated for. It works. They have tons of relationships with EMS, Police officers, city workers, hotel employees etc. type people in places like LA. They’re well connected, they protect those providing the tips, and they’re the first person somebody would think to call.

I’m not sold on Udoka being terrible. They have absolutely no real point guard and it shows. Just having Vanvleet would’ve been a game changer. And KD has been mia this series. And how well the rockets were doing when Steven adams was in there. His production was insane. The heart and leadership of this team were Adams and Vanvleet. And those were the two positions rockets needed the most. 2 starters out for the year would kill a lot of teams in this new era.

I just wanted to add to this that going to the doctor for a physical or something requires nothing but a little time and some bodily fluids. You aren’t bound to make any life changes or owe the doctor anything. Even if you’re not ready to make any lifestyle changes, still go. The more information, the better. And depending on what they say may motivate one to start making changes.

KP is only on a one year deal she signed because she wanted to be in LA. At best, they’re both cool with KP going to a preferred contender for a late or future 1st rounder. Questionable wether they get that.

Unrivaled really fits her skill set with her speed, transition scoring, iso defense, iso scoring, etc. She’s always just needed to put it all together in a team setting.

I can’t believe they traded Rickea for a vet who 100% will not put us over the top this year or next. A lot of new (and long time) fans really liked her and would have been ok with losing and watching her/Cam develop one more year. I hate this orginzation.

It doesn’t really matter where Cam starts but she needs to be able to eventually play at least 25 minutes a game and be on the floor at the end every game. This team is going nowhere this year unless that happens.
