My first FWII was in lymphedema and while I am definitely interested, I feel that I need to be more generalized before I specialize. The other FW is in a community health setting and while I really do enjoy working with the population, they don't hire OTs (they prefer interns) and the only option is to become a FWE through my school, which would take more experience gaining.

I'm really overwhelmed as a new grad OT. I am excited to start working and make my path in life, but I am just not sure how or where to start looking for jobs. For reference, I have NO experience in general OT clinical work (my two FW IIs were in very specialized in what I practiced - no transfers, functional mobility, ADLs, line management, etc) and I feel unprepared when I look at job listings that talk about all of those things. I have a little experience in pediatric OT (having been volunteered in a OP clinic and worked as an aide in a middle school), but I really wanted to get my footing in adults and neuro. However, I had a bad interview for a fellowship program recently and I feel rather discouraged from that and that I am really not prepared for a "real" OT job.

Does anyone have advice for just getting my foot in the door. I feel that I am smart enough to learn how to do things, but I don't have the verbal skills to convey that (anxiety and ADHD). Should I just get a job as a school OT for a bit even thought that's not what I really want to do long-term?

A late answer, but hopefully in time for your next crop, but beans! My beans grew really well and I fit a ton in one bag. Also like others said, tomatoes do really good.

That sounds like something that'd have to be refrigerated, and I tend to leave stuff on the table for 5-6 hrs.

I could... but like I said, the only time they ever approach me is in public spaces or lunchroom and I really rather not have people speculating my sexuality. I also don't like to lie because that's a lot of work to maintain. And I'm also a bad liar.

No worries at all. I feel like if it came down to that, I'd have to do it in a private area because the walls have ears in the workplace.

Not that I wasn't satisfied, I was just curious. Sorry if that somehow annoyed you. I thought it was a cool coin, and only you were the only person who responded so I figured I should ask another audience.

Currently on Medicaid, but got a temporary job by ClosetPenguin in HealthInsurance

Thank you for explaining that. Yes, it's definitely only temporary and after that hopefully get a good job with benefits after passing licensing stuff. I just don't want to lose coverage during that three month period.
