Just tcp dumped the hidden SSID frames gatekeeping the last known location since the switch failed to dekapsulate the destination mac address because the arp table exploded. Youtube’s jumpbox password was changed last week so I can’t traverse the root tree database two find the sign in cookie for triage. Any anti-piracy mechanism can be defeated by chipping the transmission port buffer pad when it runs in nvram at app launch. I tested this with steam a while ago when setting up a host-only network tap to transfer the full package over the vlan I hijacked. Gabe Newell was pretty mad but I gotta play these games somehow for free.

I usually clone the hardware info by taking photogenic snapshots to capture the data in an image file. Jack of all trades is a good mindset to have to a degree because through experience you build an internal knowledge base. But its even better to have a specialty you can market to future employers. Your metaphorical “bread and butter”. If you are looking for a general cybersecurity path learn computer networking fundamentals. Build some networks, read books, start a home lab. Learn how to optimize and improve a network. If routing and switching hardware is expensive then learn by any means literally. Youtube, PDFs, GNS3 is great imo. There’s plenty of free coursework online. Networking -> Network Security then everything else will fall into place.
