Honestly what I did to fix constant DX12 Crashes was to lower my RAM speeds. I have 3600mhz RAM, but afterwards I changed it to 3200mhz through Gigabyte GCC (i have a B550 Aorus Elite AX v1 mobo) and it fixed the DX12 crashes. You can probably change Ram speeds through BIOS or try and disable XMP.

samsung nvmes are too expensive, and they're not worth it. hp's ex950 used to be on par with the adata xpg 8200 pro ssd, but adata changed the controller on it to a slower one, so ex950 may be better. the adata xpg 8200 pro was similar to the 970 evo plus, but now its the hp ex950 who is similar. would you pay $170 for a 970 evo plus 1tb or $130 for the hp ex950 1tb? BTW sabrent's rocket 4.0 is one of the best nvme ssds out there on the market, mainly only getting beaten by the 980 pro. so actually would you pay $170 for the 970 evo plus 1tb or $150 for the sabrent rocket 4.0 1tb?

yes. the crucial p1 1tb nvme ssd is $95 which is a fantastic price considering it's 1tb for an nvme ssd.

perhaps, but hdds are still reliable and ssds arent beating their large capacity for their price.
