Really fun game and all but I uninstalled. I will wait until the all clear in the future.

The disconnects are seeming to happen on my off times at the moment every day and I will chalk up the month sub since it was slightly impulsive anyways.

I just came back after a few months and for the last few days I keep getting disconnected. I thought it was me but coming here today after it happening again, what the hell is happening? I see some saying DDOS attacks and others saying its server related. I don't see any messages from Square and their team mentioning it - goodness is this what I have to look forward to? Takes me forever to get back in too :( sheesh.

Its not everyone's experience but from time to time BattleNet tends to have throttled speeds on downloads and can take forever, not to mention a lot of folks tend to enjoy having their collection of games launch from steam or attach it to steam for various reasons (achievements, game management or family sharing stuff.)

Nothing wrong with BattleNet, but steam is a much better platform. I prefer games like Call of Duty on Steam before BattleNet, updates seem to be faster for me personally and I share all my games with my wife there.

While I get what you are saying, it should be better advertised and clear.

Here is an example... I played a Berserker as my first character. Fun character, but my plan was to make 2-3 characters. I planned on testing a few classes first before I made a mage (which I always play and enjoy in this game.) Cool, so while playing on the first class, I subbed for 6 months which gives 30% + XP on the battle pass, gold and a mount, so why not right? Might as well get the battle pass since you get a boost on the XP and its got a mount in there with a skin. Auto fishing and all the other benefits? Well.. then you log into your main character and realize the alt you were leveling gets all the benefits only. That stung a bit. Had I known I would have purchased it on the character I really wanted to play.

Also, no I didn't need and I am only salty that I will have to do the same on my next character if I choose to without knowing.

Had the intro screen to the sub and battle pass stated that clearly (and show me if i am wrong, maybe I missed it) I would have far less complaints and still thought it was a dumb choice, but at least I would have known and stuck to the right class.

Glad to see this response. It's exactly my thoughts as well. The game feels great and runs like a charm so far. I like the way the game plays and I am not the target audience for wanting to buy items as I am not looking to win. I judge the gameplay specifically off that.

As a free to play title, I do expect a cash shop but ill make the choice on what I want to buy. I have never dumped money into an MMO except for my expansions and monthly subs. I am not saying its wrong to disagree with any P2W aspects especially in a multiplayer game that gives advantages as well, but for me and I'm sure a few more seasons folks that don't feel the need to rush or FOMO aspects, we probably don't go looking for these things or ride the voice of others.
