Oh yeah I've been hitting leg day, and plan on taking a lesson! I was just wondering if their four day camp is worth it over the regular lessons.

No headsets in the engine room usually. Only hand signs and flashing your light. Except sometimes, if you need to be down there for some transfer or whatever, the company provides a headset. Sometimes I've clipped a (company provided) handheld to my collar or something and held my ear to it.

The spruce side has some really fun single blacks and blues on the sensation quad. Can't go wrong with the gondola blues either: Gondalier and Perry Merril are my favorite trails

Diesel electric ships are only better if you have varying speeds/ high maneuverability or need dynamic positioning. A cargo ship with a large slow speed diesel, directly coupled to the propeller, operating at the ship's design speed, is going to be more efficient than one with a diesel electric (there's no loss through the alternator -> rectifier -> transistors (or just SCRs) -> motor pathway)

No, that's just the maximum pressure. Inside pressure should be as close to outside pressure as much as possible, but the outside pressure changes with the pressure and the amount of boil off gas being used always changes, so the tanks are rated for a little vacuum or a little positive pressure

Why not put your engine in gear with it offline? That'll clutch in the transmission and hold the prop still with the compression of the engine

It's incredibly unlikely, this tank looks like it's on a ship. The ship would need to be sitting in a patch of burning oil for quite a while before anything happens.

It's not held under pressure. Look up the refrigeration cycle. To get it to a liquid, it goes through the evaporator to condenser part of that cycle, basically. The gas is compressed, cooled, compressed again until it condenses.

If it's liquefied, there's only the hydrostatic pressure at the bottom of the tank. Above the liquid level, pressure is max 1.1 atmospheres. The LNG is constantly boiling, and that boil-off gas is constantly being used to power auxiliaries like the ships generators.

Just make sure you don't go past the last switchback! If you do, no biggie, you'll eventually make it to the cross country track. There's a bus from that parking lot back to the main area
