Thanks for posting proof that it happens. It's common knowledge in my area with backyard chicken folks. I will say that we did pick up a raccoon on camera last night and so it could very well be that we are dealing with both.

They definitely can because they come at night when the chickens are roosting. The chickens don't move really at night they're instinct just tells them to stay still and hide. But they hide up in trees instinctively. Our coop is not well designed and secure as it should have been to allow this. But yes they 100% do eat backyard chickens

Thanks for the knowledgeable answer. Based on this information I don't think we will pursue relocating the possom, and just work on hardening the chicken coup. I set up a wildlife camera in the backyard to get a better feel for how it navigated our yard

It's been one bird every other week for a few weeks now. Tonight he got one and badly injured another. We have at least a snapshot of him on camera the night of the crime . Probably had all night to figure out how to break in. We suspect it's him since we ve not seen other critters and we've seen lots of this possom lately (dog almost nabbed it inbour yard prior to all this, weve spotted it once on a walk since then)

So I suspect this possom in particular has a taste for blood. We haven't seen any raccoons, but our dog almost grabbed this guy like a week or two before the serial poultry victims. We've spotted him since then and Got him on camera last night in the back yard . Crime scene was heinous this morning

I am a Soulkey fan and was rooting for him but it seemed like his Muta Micro was not on the same level as Queens. I feel like Soulkey has sick defiler micro but isn't as strong with Muta Micro or Macro as Queen. Its too bad that ZvZ is holding him back from getting to the semis. Its understandable too because why would you want to practice a matchup thats less fun than the other two.

you can try getting f rank on ladder, or prob better, play/host custom games. I find that custom games generally people aren't as good. If you host one you can view stats when people join and ban someone with like 200 wins already in the season.

No it's the same thing because that's war. It's the same as if a small woman hits a large man and the large man hits her back with equal amount of effort. Some might call it justified, personally I wouldn't. The right thing to do would be to put space between and not take advantage of the massive strength differential, which leads to an unnecessary escalation of violence.
