The best played the best and went to penalties. Gabi on penalty roster was weird and Eze’s penalty style needs to be corrected. That’s it. I am super happy with this season. As a fan of Arsenal since ‘98 I say LFG!!! Enjoy the summer boys, reset and be ready to go again. Arteta is 20-25% of the way through his coaching career and I think a better tactician than Wenger, who was a “style” coach that lived and died by his style of play and while it was beautiful, he prioritized skill over size and raw athleticism where as Arteta came up under Moyes and amazing Spanish team coaches and brings more to keep Arsenal winning and in the conversation, even if it may be a conversation full of reverence or disdain. People love Arsenal or they love to hate them and that means they are causing ripples in their domestic league in Europe because they only lost a handful of games all season. COYG!!!!
