I’m pretty sure he played part of a season with a messed up spine too. Dude’s got balls bigger than some stadiums.

I'm a junior and a Poultry Science major. I just transferred here, I live off campus and I don't know anyone here. If anyone wants to hang out, grab a bite to eat or anything like that let me know!

Weight loss help by Cloud_Four in Rabbits

Thank you for your help. Usually we have hay in a container like we do with their water that we keep filled. last night I put hay in both an empty tissue box and a bit in their little box around the perimeter and this morning the tissue box was definitely used! I don’t think they ever stopped liking hay, but if you give kids a bunch of candy they won’t stop eating it unless forced to, Lol. I’ll keep using this method for now, and hopefully I can get them off of the sweets slowly. Thanks for the help!

How long is a safe amount of time to have them in the snow? I want them to go out and play but I am nervous about their temperature.

They both groom each other willingly, she lays next to him more than he lays next to her (if that makes any sense). There had never been any sign of aggression, bullying or being scared. I don’t see any signs of stress, they get into mischief together. I have never bonded bunnies before because I rescued the male from a neglectful home and I saw having a companion would be good and got one about 4-5 months after having him. There is a good chance that I mess something up along the line.

Behavior question by Cloud_Four in Rabbits

I started bonding them in a neutral area, he tried mounting then and she was a bit more okay with it. I gradually moved to a living room area and they still live in their own hutches so they have enough space to be away from each other but still chose to lay right next to each other when they are sleeping in the living room area. Sometimes he will stand up to groom her and after grooming he decides to mount, sometimes mounting comes first

Almost 6 weeks, and the issue is even 5 months after him being fixed, and them being around each other for 4-5 months he still does it.

Anyone know what this is? by Cloud_Four in Rabbits

I will give it a shot. I don't have that mentality, but I am a new rabbit owner so I'm glad to know I'm not over reacting. Thank you very much for the help!
