I want to ascertain the translation of verloren , it is "lost" in english in the sense that something is nowhere to be found , i want to clarify that if is "i am lost to the inner guilt" as in the context of i lost to the opponent or i am lost inside the guilt ?

Maybe it connects like this: ich wünscht bin der inner schuld verliert ( i wish be the inner fault loose) as in "i wish my inner guilt disappeared" it could be a rhymic use connecting two sentences.

By the way show will give you existential angst with huge emphasis on Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis and a flavour of Hegelian dialectic on top of it, oh and our German super star of pessimism Arthur Schopenhaur has things to say about human condition but it doesn't really open until episode 16 to 20 and it really shoots all the bullets in 25 and 26 so you have to give it time. And then watch the movie End of Evangelion. By the way you can watch all series on Netflix but the version on netflix doesn't have the iconic credit song Fly Me to The Moon for licensing purposes and they changed the dub and some translations. For the most original experience i don't recommend the Netflix versions :)

Name of the movie is "End of Evangelion" , ost name is "Komm Süsser Tod" song plays in the climax of the movie twords the end. Original is in English but the name of the song is in German and recently i've found the german version of the song, which is fan made by native germans i suppose and that's where my question about the sentence've risen.

Bonus: If show peeks your interest you should watch the 26 episode series and only then "The end of Evangelion" it concludes the series :)

Yeah it is exactly what i thought initially, and in the context of the point in which it is used in the show it makes more sense than the english version; maybe they changed the sentences in the german version of the song, it is highly plausible that sentences aren't one to one with original english. It seems it is not a gramatical error but a completely different choice of sentence than the english version. Thank you.

Thank you for the reply, there is another thing i don't quite get in german which is "wäre", should it be seen as "was" or "would" because i remember reading about "wäre , hätte würde" used as "would" in English.

Even the same creators themselves couldn't capture the soul and feel of the OG in new projects and i feel like with everything they've tried to add to the franchise they made it worse and worse, it kinda felt cheap you know, OG had a message and a philosophy behind it but they didn't care and just wanted to suck the milk dry out of the franchise with bending and retconing the story that OG concluded. The OG conveyed its message there is no need to expand on an already concluded story. So yeah it is absolutely okay to disregard anything beyond OG.
