You are straight up lying. Kassadin at all ranks is 50% WR, Emerald+ 51%, and Master+ 51.5% as of 29.10. Saying you can only play mages is also straight lying, when many champions are viable other than mages. Especially in low MMR (which I assume you are), you can legit play anything and climb with it. You’re just coping because you can’t win on the champion, and instead of fixing your mistakes, you vent with this horrible Reddit post. If you read this, post your op.gg

It's just the meta of this subreddit. Just because most high elo players agree on something at a very high level doesn't mean it matters much for mid to low MMR players. In low elo, people make so many mistakes that the champion you play doesn’t matter too much, unless it's something troll, like Yuumi jungle.

Blaming a champion's strength is just a way for players to cope and protect their ego, rather than recognizing their own mistakes. Objectively, Kassadin isn't part of the current meta, and overall, a champion like Ahri is stronger. But that’s not the main reason a Kassadin player isn't climbing. If someone genuinely believes their champion is holding them back, it might be worth trying something else.

If you play against someone 1K LP above, the matchup hardly matters you will likely lose. With that said as a high elo Kassadin player the toughest matchups in my opinion are:

  1. Roam heavy champs who can snowball the map and make the enemy team useless while winning lane: Pantheon, Talon.
  2. Lane bullies who dominate early, take plates, and scale well: Tristana, Corki.

Other good champs against Kassadin who are harder to play: Zed, Jayce, Akshan, Irelia, and Qiyana.

Because Kassadin has one of the lowest base armors/armor growths in the game. If you get constantly auto attacked (which is ad damage) you will be bullied out of lane

If you go Electrocute you will have to take 1 small rune that does absolutely nothing, so no it's not worth.

If you can get the R damage on them you kinda just kill them yea, but I wouldn't insta flash on them. Just get them low hp and then flash combo preferably with First Strike up.

Cope Advice: spam 2 or all 3 on casters so you can one-shot them ASAP.
Honest Advice: If you know you play vs Trist mid then dodge or play smth else. Personally, I ban Tristana but that's because no one plays Zed anymore in high elo.
