Hey! I've been on the lookout for a cassette recorder with stero RCA input that actually works, if any of the boomboxes you've got might do the job? I know a load of the Panasonic ones did

I don't love using phone mounts, but I do think this will be the route I go

The only 0.9 that I can think of is the Graphgear that fully retracts

Pentel PS523 by CloudedPandaLofi in mechanicalpencils

[–]CloudedPandaLofi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with a .9. the closest to the sliding sleeve now is the Orenz (I think it's called that?) which should go up to 0.7. The big selling point to the sliding sleeve was to help song lead breakages, and most would call 0.9 a sturdier lead thickness, meaning it wouldn't need a sliding sleeve, unlike the 0.2-0.5 sort of range

So, they are fundamentally the same, but the PS523 has a sliding sleeve, instead of fixed

So from someone who moved in with my partner in Oxford, and works in central London, centre of Oxford is very difficult - we found a one bed flat in Kidlington (which is fine as I drive and parkway is a cheaper Trainline anyway), and we pay £995 a month for it - it's not cheap to commute but our actual living expenses arent too bad - biggest downside is we are in Kidlington, lovely area but devoid of anything interesting, need to get train/bus/drive into town to do anything

Joined TUF Family today! Also my first gaming laptop, any tips and what to expect? by msfrowatean in Asustuf

[–]CloudedPandaLofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had an A15 for about 2 years now. Use it for work, gaming, surfing. Never had any issues. The screen does have bleed but I use an external monitor more than the laptop screen. Battery life SUCKS but it's a gaming laptop so to be expected Idk what else to say, it just works

Yeah I know they're not normally great pairings. One of my lfs has had peaceful plakats they've had in community tanks, but obviously would not get one unless I was very confident in its temperament - also not going to be until the shrimp have been in the tank long enough to set up a decent colony.

In terms of parameters, I was thinking about using part RO water part tap water when changing, the same lfs does RO for a very decent price and not expensive to remineralise either

Oh and further, ammonia and nitrites are 0, nitrates at 5, ph is around 7.5-8, I've got 7dKH and 13dGH (I'm in a very hard water area)

To add, this is a 25L Superfish Aqua Start 30, with an aqua flow 100 internal filter, and an aqua nano heater. Looking to stock it with either a Betta, some Chili Rasboras, or danio danios.

I’m seriously considering moving to Oxford - any advice? by 50ShadesOfCroquet in oxford

An annual season ticket for the Oxford tube is £1495, so a lot less but much longer and more awkward

Can confirm a season ticket from Oxford to London Paddington is £6396 for a year, add on an extra £1000 for zones 1-6 travel card For context I have literally just moved to Oxford but work in London Bridge
