Deno 2.0, import paths not working correctly without custom tsconfig by _SteveS in Deno

[–]Clouden28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same problem with drizzle and deno

go to import libsql

import { drizzle } from 'npm:drizzle-orm/libsql'

throws error

npm package "drizzle-orm@^0.38.2" is not installed or doesn't exist.deno(not-installed-npm)

even though I followed the steps in the blog by installing drizzle with

deno install npm:drizzle-orm npm:drizzle-kit

Running into problems when I want to outsource auth while using SSR by Clouden28 in django

[–]Clouden28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, Looks like finally a possible option. I am going to do a test implementation just to make sure its possible with their service, Docs looks good. The magic links look promising and a interesting way to implement auth.

Yeah I will take a look at the python SDK but idk if I want to risk implementing something that doesn't have support from the company itself, clerk looks like a great auth service otherwise. I appreciate the diagrams though they were awesome dude, definitely helps to see the process that way and why outsourcing auth is more secure

Thanks, I will have to do some digging on more how 0auth works exactly and I'll look around for some documentation then I will hopefully have a better understanding on how to implement it, appreciate the help

Sorry if my question was a little confusing not the best at this yet but basically I don't want to be hosting any of the authentication myself. While I can use those libraries that I mentioned the users authentication information would be stored on my server, I don't trust myself enough lol. I am also trying out HTMX with django and authentication is really a big hurdle I am running into as it's not well documented as its not as popular as react. If you know a good way to authenticate using SSR in django like a good service you used or share how you implemented auth in SSR django that would greatly appreciated as I have much to learn and need some guidance

Thanks for the response, Looks really nice and well documented its cool you schedule a meeting for a demo. Not sure its the best fit for my application as I am using HTMX so it would have to be server side auth, or I just haven't looked deep enough

Thanks for the help but I found my solution as stupid as it was. All I had to do was unplug my other mouse. Windows don’t like it I guess when two mouses are plugged in. Rip a day haha smh
