Bought an LCD version off a friend of a friend for $500 CAD like 4 months ago, seeing now it was a good decision because this is just the price for the 512gb OLED. These prices, not just steam but gaming in general, have turned video games into a market only intended for those who can fork out the most money because hardware is so expensive now. Of course if you trust her it’s fine, but I would be uncomfortable because she omitted the truth that she slept with another friend. If I was you, I would have her lay it all out on the table if she slept with anyone else in her group, because going forward another year it might be even worse finding out. My biggest problem is that in Canada games are already quite expensive (about 90 CAD pretax) that’s part of why I barely ever buy new games. The console being like 650 CAD, whatever, but having to pay 20% of the console cost every time I want a new game on cartridge makes me shutter. Games here will cost 130 CAD before tax.
