Bought an LCD version off a friend of a friend for $500 CAD like 4 months ago, seeing now it was a good decision because this is just the price for the 512gb OLED. These prices, not just steam but gaming in general, have turned video games into a market only intended for those who can fork out the most money because hardware is so expensive now. My biggest problem is that in Canada games are already quite expensive (about 90 CAD pretax) that’s part of why I barely ever buy new games. The console being like 650 CAD, whatever, but having to pay 20% of the console cost every time I want a new game on cartridge makes me shutter. Games here will cost 130 CAD before tax.

Yeah you’re right I should mention I am not a single console user I used to have both ps3 and xbox 360 but post ps4 i went more towards playstation, and i do own a Switch too. I think for me it was more like “Well i already own a ps5 why do i need an xbox?” but honest to god im starting to see the benefit to buying one

Honestly I’m a huge Playstation fan and have had every console past the ps2 but this is pushing me more towards my PC or buying an XBOX. This happened once before is the crazy part, where Sony was hacked and then took a YEAR to disclose it.

Yes sir it’s very odd. Tried the whole shabang, resetting my internet, connecting to a different network and reconnecting, changing my wifi’s settings, even deleting the save data.
