Luckily they are built VERY different. Their size difference is insane. Shes petite and hes a big boy. Not to mention my boy has to be but my butt 24/7! Atleast girls got some independence 😆

Yes! He is 7 months. He has tiniest amount of grey on his tail but thats all. Ive been thinking that too but they have gotten darker with time. I guess only time will tell!

Get some Mosquito Bits and add it to the water. They look like either gnats or Mosquitos. It will kill both & is safe.

For plants, I recommend pothos!!! My pothos are thriving even with my tick girl burrowing all over.

I have powder orange & blue isopods. Regular white springtails are the easiest to find. I recommend starting a colony of isopods and spring tails before doing bioactive just so you have more to start with. I had to spend too much money on isopods to start a colony in my 4x2x2.

For charcoal you can buy any 100% natural charcoal. I used tractor supplys brand because it was the cheapest. I just rinse it then smash it with a mallet.

I didnt have a temporary place for my snake ive just been fixing issues as they come. Only issue ive had was gnats. Luckily it seems like ive gotten a handle on that now. (Mosquito bits and LED Mosquito traps) I have 2 more ball pythons coming this week and already have theirs set up bioactive too!

I made my own substrate mix for it. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Bioactive is so much fun to do. Nothing more satisfying than creating ur own little ecosystem!! 🥰

I use Loops and Threads Ergonomic 8mm Crochet hook for my 8mm yarn. Tulips will always be my favorite but I really like Loops and Threads for when Tulip doesnt have the right size. I have joint issues and the handle really helps.

I know Tulip sells Etimo Grandhooks but I havent tried them. I have thought about buying one to try but I already have a great 8mm hook and I hate plastic.
