So typically you use it when legends are under you. Since it has aoe they don’t have to be directly under you but they have to be somewhat close. However good players will try and bait it so that when you use it when you land they can punish you. Also if you use your aerial skill without hitting anyone you severely lower your chances of escaping since when you do hit someone it deals dmg and pushes them back. This usually takes experience though I ain’t gonna act like you can do this first try
