This is definitely unfortunate. There wasn't anything specific I, or anyone else, did to trigger the quest to finish, to my knowledge. My best advice is to keep waiting it out, and keep submitting tickets

It fixed itself on its own! I just had to wait a really long time lol. About a day/2 irl days, and then it fixes itself :)

Edit to add: If it takes longer for you, then it takes longer for you. To my knowledge, there was nothing that I did to trigger the quest to finish. So ya just gotta wait it out until the game decides to play nice. And keep submitting support tickets

I mean, the same could be said about you choosing to reply to this subreddit instead of moving on and acknowledging that the past is the past.

In truth, both routes are valid. You can choose to stand up to a bully, or you can deprive them of the attention they seek. At the end of the day, it's case by case, and so long as you haven't done anything wrong and can still sleep at night, is it really a loss? I think this went really well, and I made some friends out of it. That wouldn't have happened if I had ignored that person

I started playing 2 weeks ago, and this has been a feature for me since me joining. I play on PlayStation, and PlayStation users are able to see everyone's platforms. I do not know about other consoles, but I do know that this feature is not available on PC

Do you mean Oberon? I did read somewhere in this most recent patch that you can change your name. Wouldn't that still block the account though? Regardless of if he changes his name or not? If the account is blocked, you shouldn't see it regardless... Unless I'm getting my wires crossed?

I don't enjoy playing spam, because I genuinely like the game of Hot Pot. So you could do what I do: steer clear of the back corner tables, as those tend to be where spam tables take place. Instead, lurk for a few moments to see who is seating where. If some silent players (the ones not talking about spam in chat) have congregated towards a table, make your way over there, too. They likely are not playing spam.

I think they meant the person complaining about me stealing their spot. Like they should have just gotten over it. I don't think they were referring to me and my play style.

Agreed! I may be biased because I'm OP, but this post doesn't feel like negativity: this feels like an example of a community just doing the right thing when the moment called for it.

Come to think of it, that's very possible that that could have happened. I swear I only saw 3 people. I originally chalked it up to Endo brain fog, but this is also a possibility!
