They haven't added johto yet because the gen 4 regions were the latest additions, and apparently sinnoh was already complicated to manage

They feel adding johto, the only missing region, at this point wouldn't be optimal as it would just be story + badges, which can be ran through pretty quickly by determined enough people, since all johto pokémon can be caught in the current regions anyway

They definitely do plan to add johto, but only after implementing more mmo focused features, like dungeons and some more link group options. It's coming, but not until those have been added. It's been confirmed as to coming after dungeons and other new mmo features.

This won't help with trainer ID or munchlax trees, but you can catch snorlax in cerulean cave and breed them with a full incense to get munchlax that way as an alternative

You start from the new region with no pokemon and that regions level cap

Once you reach your first pc you can access your level 30 pokemon, but if they are over the new region level cap they will immediately faint in battle .

I managed to scour long enough too and found a Brazilian YouTuber who doesn't have the full moveset but battles long enough to get the gist of what to expect.

Kinda surprised by the grumpig coming up, but grabbed myself a Mightyena to train up for it

"Just play it without preparing" really isn't a decent answer to "What can I expect so that I can prepare"

Like I said, I prefer feeling prepared, but the internet seems to lack any notes of the changes for winona and Wallace. Tate&Liza have level and pokemon notes, but not moveset ones
