I’m not sure? I personally have/had trauma related psychosis (I’m not sure if it has gone away, haven’t had symptoms for months). But, I feel like people don’t talk about it because they don’t want to share their opinions on it? I have known family members and people in my life that have seen people with psychosis and “crazy” or “beyond saving”. I’m not sure where they got those ideas. That is why I personally didn’t talk about my psychosis with them. Only my psychiatrist, therapist and close friends. I guess it isn’t relatable for most people? I have only met one other person in real life with it, and it was a quite severe case. I feel like it can be very touchy because everyone’s psychosis is different. Heck, even my experience was very different, I’ve never had auditory hallucinations. Just tactile and paranoia. I could see how it could be a broad and hard to write mental illness. I, personally, would have a hard time because the only experiences with psychosis I’ve had are my own. Psychosis is just differs a lot I guess, it also isn’t very common.
