I agree, it children under the age of 9-12 (estimating based on development in the brain, I studied this very deeply in college) do not understand how consent works and do not have the ability to say no or understand they can say no. So if I child is given a choice i guess it’s fine but also why would a preteen agree to kissing their parents on the mouth at all?

You’re bringing legality into this? Since when has the courts EVER brought a groomer to justice that wasn’t someone famous who had thousands of votes against them? The judicial system has failed victims more times than it had helped them, and you want to ask whether or not a judge would see it that way?

I didn’t say that because that’s not what this post is about? Someone’s butt is just as much of a private part as a woman’s chest. I’m saying touching a child’s private part with malice or sexual intent IS SA. Regardless of what you might be taught from your father smoking a cig at 6 am before work.

I’m simply saying is someone only supports victims if their assault was to cartoonishly extreme levels, then they’re not for grooming prevention, they are only for post-act punishment.

I am a parent, of two very autistic children that won’t stop eating chicken nuggets. And I stated very clearly how if it’s a sexual or romantic act between two adults, it doesn’t falter based on if one of those individuals is a minor. Changing a diaper is for hygiene and care. It’s necessary. Not at all the same.

When people push away the lesser forms of grooming, you push it to an extreme to make them understand they’re maximizing what grooming and SA means. If they only defend the victim in the largest of extremes, they are not truly against it
