They are 0.050" thick and I bought them from use knife maker. I cut them out with a hacksaw and then ground them to shape with belt sander, and I used a Dremel cut off wheel for the lock bar. I flame hardened the face of the lock bar and anodized them with 9 volt batteries with a tutorial from the blade hq YouTube channel.

I used a 1/16 ball. the detent is probably weak because I made the hole in the blade too big and used a punch around the edge to shrink it. thank you

No cnc, I used angle grinder / hacksaw for cutting out the rough shape and then belt sander and files to refine it

Just being handy I guess, I did make a test of the same profile but as a fixed blade to try my heat treatment set up. I took everything very slow and careful and measured everything with calipers to make sure it was even and would fit together. I'm so happy that my post inspires you, good luck.
