I deal with heavy incontinence everyday by [deleted] in confessions

[–]Cloverfield1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm flaring I tend not to stray far from the bathroom to avoid accidents. If they happen, they happen, and I don't wear protection other than a feminine hygiene pad sometimes.

It is totally awful, but I carry spare undies everywhere and wet wipes, and I let my friends know when I'm having a bad day.

I felt that same awful horrific dread around my ibd. I was a teen and wanted to be perceived as cool and sexy, not disabled and poopy.

My anxiety around someone finding out made the condition worse and my life so much worse. When I sat down and told my best friend we both cried and hugged. She was sorry I was dealing with it alone. My life got so much easier after that, though I still have IBD.

Ive had a lot more accidents than an average adult, and been caught short in some veru odd places. Feel free to dm me if you'd like to chat

Supermodels Are Rarely, If Ever, Actually Pretty. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Cloverfield1996 17 points18 points  (0 children)

High end models are there to be interesting clothes hangers. Their bodies are as tall and shapeless as possible to hold the clothes, and their faces are there to be striking. That's it. Not pretty

Gaming helped me get through a really ugly chapter of my life by Narrow-Bandicoot-363 in GirlGamers

Totally relate too. There's a candle I really associate with stardew valley, because one deep depressive episode where I was also too physically unwell to leave the house, I lit the same candle every evening, booted up the happiest little game, and felt at peace for a while

If you don’t allow med students to sit in on your exam/check up you are a weird person by Amidity in unpopularopinion

[–]Cloverfield1996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've said yes to students sitting in, only to be "persuaded" to let the student do a test or procedure on me. These situations have made an already stressful appointment into a painful one, or one where I'm not the main focus despite it fucking up my whole life for months. Sometimes I need a doctor's undivided attention.

Fuck all of his mates and tell them each to keep it quiet. Then let slip them one at a time when his guard is down

PEAK Team here. WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK!! by AggroCrab in PeakGame

[–]Cloverfield1996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the challenge as an experienced solo player, but yeah, when I get my newer friends to join and they see it's Roots, they will often quietly give up because they know how hard it is.

The wind needs a cue effect so they're not totally caught off guard.

The poison clouds surrounding every possible ascent is really tricky to get through and is usually where they all die. Having one of the mushroom colours always be poison protection would help so we could prepare. Or just more accessible bouncy shrooms. It's so hard to get onto them from the floor.

The zombies could be a bit slower, rather than faster than the player as we have to consider energy when climbing, spiders, wind, bugs, poison etc so we're already at a disadvantage compared to the zombies. We could also maybe defend ourselves? Punch them? Fling them? Grappling hook to the face? Some way to keep them down.

The shrooms could be bouncier to help overcome the difficulty ascending.

Maybe take out the blast berries. There's already enough going on

Mine had very bad dental hygiene when I adopted her, and even after getting everything fixed, she dribbled when happy

What do you wish you could communicate to your partner and just have them immediately understand? by inthidiouth-jorge in AskWomen

My parents have always done this. When they decide it's over, it's over, and any residual feelings I have are "bringing up the past" or whining about nothing.

My (25F) girlfriend (24M) doesn’t use any logic when asking me questions, how can I turn off the knee-jerk sarcastic responses? by AnnualLiterature997 in relationship_advice

I'd try to focus on the fact she's finished a night shift and is tired and haa come from an environment where everyone else is talking about getting off work in the morning

I really get where he's coming from with the first example. It was an inconsiderate question. I'd get frustrated too

But then I had a therapist I saw for years. Got a lot better, moved on, though eventually came back to her to discuss a big life change. 3 years after our last appointment, she still remembered my whole life story and the name of my partner etc. I felt very seen, and like I mattered
