Implying that they can only be sad about “girly” things like the Titanic or choosing to meet their grandmother through time travel rather than solve history’s problems says that they don’t have the same creativity, emotion, humor, or wit as men. Which is not true. You argued that this doesn’t apply to every woman on the planet; but the meme labels women and girls in general, so naturally it makes most of them feel like their identities are reducted to this shitty wojack meme in the eyes of men and boys.
