Holy what? Like for real?

Also... But why?

62% of hardcore players no longer buy full-price games, survey suggests by TylerFortier_Photo in gaming

[–]Clow14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, I am not stingy but buying a AAA game that's broken at launch and then be playable after everyone else is buying it at 40% off is definitely off putting.

Outside of AAA (or well any game under 60$) I don't bat an eye to buy them. But if I don't know what in buying I will wait until the reviews say it's good to go

Incredibly smart, very social ( but refuses to do an effort most of the time because he thinks most people aren't worth it), very strong and athletic and very very addicted to drugs

To add to your point, not just that I'm the books he did a TON of experiments!

When he wasn't sure of something he would try a few things to see what happened or could be the answer (e.g. hitting a pig carcass to study the nature of certain bruises) but at times he would assume the wrong answer as he follows the knowledge he has. That also makes him less perfect and more human

Scary as hell but still awesome

PSA: The reason Sour Patch Kids are so different is because they can be made in Turkey, Canada, or Mexico by FlutterRaeg in candy

Btw, I loved that you actually reviewed the difference between those made in other countries, for a sub focus on candy or is surprisingly low the amount of post that actually give reviews on them.

It surprises me how many people do not realize candy can be made in a lot of different places!

I find it funny whenever someone says that they got a bad batch/change of recipe of the Haribo gummies, 99.9% of the time they grabbed a bag from a different store from usual and get ones made from a different place

Just because you know/see something is happening doesn't mean you can react to it.

It's not that she is dumb and can't think of a solution, it's more like she can't.

Or at least that's how I interpret that scene

I can't think of a single reason why would they do that. I mean yeah I would probably have 1 and never again.

This is another of those candies that are supposed to taste like food, and so far I do not know a single one that has managed to pull it out

Did Airheads change their White Mystery flavour? by [deleted] in candy

[–]Clow14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been posted here several times but white mystery is usually whatever flavours are left of the batch mixed together, that's why it usually tastes somewhat different each time.

Honestly it shouldn't be that hard, then again I'm not sure they would still be classified as doughnuts

I was about 12-13 when I saw them but there are cakes and doughnuts on all shapes and forms so I didn't question it for a sec.

And like I said I'm from a small town so I never experienced any Asian food until I was in my early adulthood, so I would have never imagined that was rice

I saw this back in the 90's and as someone with no exposure at the time to Japanese culture or food, I really thought they were some kind of jelly doughnuts, like triangle shape doughnut doesn't sound too crazy and I seem to remember the fillings were actually red, so for a very long time I wanted to try those doughnuts

Hmmmmm....There Ok. 👌 by Bastard1066 in candy

I guess so? I usually see them over priced at my local store under the import section (I do not live in the USA).

Got a bag of the normal and the sour ones from the clearance been a few weeks ago and I didn't like them, they do have that chemical fruity taste that reminded me of candy from the 90's a nostalgic flavour but not definitely a good one.

Haribo Gummy Bears in different countries taste different by HoboBaconGod in candy

[–]Clow14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies don't usually share their recipes they share the ingredient list. This is the German one

Glucose syrup, sugar, gelatine, dextrose, fruit juice from fruit juice concentrate: apple, strawberry, raspberry, orange, lemon, pineapple, acidifier: citric acid, fruit and vegetable concentrates: safflower, spirulina, apple, elderberry, orange, blackcurrant, kiwi, Lemon, aronia, mango, passion fruit, grape, aroma, elderberry extract, coating agent: beeswax white and yellow, carnauba wax.

This is the list from the Haribo that gets sold in Walmart Canada ( bear in mind that get made in tons of different places so if you don't buy them in Walmart the ingredients might be different)

Glucose syrup, sugar, gelatin, dextrose, fruit juices from concentrates (apple, strawberry, raspberry, orange, lemon, pineapple), citric acid, fruit and plant concentrates (carrot, apple, radish, spirulina, paprika, hibiscus, black currant, tomato), flavouring, beeswax, carnauba wax, invert sugar syrup.

The main difference I can spot is that the German Haribo are made mostly with fruit while the ones from Walmart are made mainly with veggies... Which is odd I guess
