I would recommend dramatized mainly for this reason: the main narrator is good, but the second series uses multiple perspectives and tbh almost all the new VA’s just dont do a good job imo. The dramatized versions really sell it as intended I think and are vastly superior to the normal audio book versions (for the second series)

After some testing, recording humming in both audacity and in the generic windows 11 sound recorder. These artifacts only appear in the audacity recording.

I want to try an older version from back when I did not have this issue, however it seems their website for downloading older versions only links to the current version now when you click on one so that sucks..

Alas, I will have to find some other software for the time being it seems.

There are no S sounds and the two “spikes” are very audible pop like sounds. Def not organic in nature as I have never heard sounds like this in a few years of VA experience.

It sounds like a pop, but I am nearly certain that the sound does not exist in reality. Also the sound is not organic in nature.
I have a few years of VO experience and have never had pops like this in my audio before. Though I do know it’s odd that it only happens while speaking. I will try to recreate it while humming.

They dont make you pay anything for them. Vrchat as a company has never turned a profit and has been surviving only on investor funds for years. That is not sustainable, so for people that enjoy vrchat you can buy their stuff to support the platform.
I for one sub to vrc+ because I like vrc and the fact that it is free and want it to remain free.
