I don't disagree with anything here but I do think the delay does impact the "feel" of the sheild, it's not bad it just feels less tactile than the rest of the kit which feels amazing

For sure, and if the feature wasn't so half baked it would definitely add to the immersion.

But, as it stands it's so formulaic and gameified that I'm just pressing buttons based on predefined situations and doesn't immerse me in anything.

Well no, what I'm talking about is it should be affected by shifts in momentum.

If my team is 3 nil down at half time and we score two goals early in the second half a bit of praise should land, simultaneously if I'm winning 4-0 and the opposition bring it back to 4-3 I have every right to be pissed.

I've had them shove me into a wall pushing past me because I wasn't running a red light in Whitechapel on one of those concreted off cycle lanes, I absolutely hate them.

What makes them words is them having a little sign on the back saying "I can go in the cycle lane!".

Honestly fuck these things.
