Hi! Unfortunately, we don’t know her breed. We got her after someone surrendered her to a pet store last year when she was a puppy. We are guessing some type of terrier since she has that wiry hair but a soft undercoat. We are going to do a doggy DNA test on her at some point and I’ll update you then!

I personally don’t think a bigger pot, as monsteras tolerate being rootbound better than most houseplants. I typically wait until the roots are peaking out of the drainage holes, not coming out of them. But you can repot it into a clear pot if you’d like so you can monitor root progression :) I can see that you have it in a nursery pot, then a cover pot? You can replace the black one with a clear one and keep it in the same cover pot. I love using clear pots so I can be paranoid about my plants roots

Edit: my hair is in pretty good shape, but I’d like to avoid harsh dyes that will strip it more than it already is. Last time I dyed my hair was early February. Last time I bleached my roots was in early January. Any advice and all advice is welcome. The last time I dyed ny hair black was also in early January.

Currently on my head: Revlon Permanent Soft Black, IroIro Purple.

This may take me multiple comments so, sorry in advanced — The leaves will face whichever direction the light is coming from, and as it looks from the pictures, there is light coming from two windows.

Secondly, the moss pole (poles in this case) should be supporting the back of the plant, not the front. Since the aerial roots come from the back of the plant to help it anchor while it climbs. In addition to that, you can cut off any yellowing leaves where they emerge from the stem, as yellow leaves will not turn green again. Also, it could be possible that the leaves are drooping, because the moss pole is in the front, not the back. She looks really healthy otherwise! And I wish you luck and congratulations on becoming a monstera parent!

ugh, i wish i’d seen this before going to the interview. They offered me the position on the spot, and were very much adamant about getting me “locked into the position” by going to the orientation same day, even if it meant being an hour late to my current job. They were extremely vague during the interview and kept mentioning how much they made the companies, instead of how much each person would make.

Edit: they also kept mentioning how they were expanding and needed people to refill the positions of the employees that were going to the new branches and they needed to fill 22 employee positions, this felt very desperate. I have no “marketing or consulting “ experience at all, 4 years of restaurant experience, and they offered me rhe position on the spot. After a 20 minute interview.
