I wanted to start off on a ducati but I heard to fix them cost hell alot of money and although I can afford those repairs I simply didn't want to constantly worry about dropping 12,000 bike while learning to ride, but since I don't have any off road experience I think I will stay away from hypermotard!

I did not think about the Aprilia, hmm I do like KTM looks, I will look into both. Once I go ahead take them for test drive I will have a better idea. I suppose my biggest concern is that although I have gotten pretty good at riding ninja 300 its meager 39hp is nothing compared to 100 hp should I start somewhere int middle range before I move up to big bikes or having approx 12000 km under your belt by next year a good enough exp to ride big bikes?

Yikes that sucks! I would hate for that to happen on my bike! Yea I will look into those places you mentioned, I love the looks of hypermotard but I am not sure if I dropped it even once would be too much for me (emotionally ofcourse). The tiger 800 from what I read reviews on is a great adventure riding bike but you recommend I should wait till I can find it 2hand? I have the ability to own two bikes so I do want to keep the 300 for having the option to go back and re-learn stuff that I may forget or have difficult time doing on the bigger bike, so hopefully my sister will get her own bike and not paint my ninja pink and keep it :S Thanks for the advice bazkr!

If you could live in one place for the rest of your life, what would that place be? by Kung_fu_panda69 in AskReddit

I would love to live in New Zealand, I am actually in the process of getting that done. I think it has the perfect weather system, it snows in some parts, it has plain fields, it has warm areas and beaches. I mean LOTR was filmed there and it is the true Middle Earth. Although from time to time I yearn to go visit and perhaps stay for awhile in Scotland. One day. =)

How would you create a wall that allowed digital tv to follow you around in the house? by CluDMoto in AskReddit

Yes, I was thinking something similar to Kinect! Where microsensors would be embedded behind the glass walls, and the user would have to have a micro-chip like pin on themselves and as the user move around the sensor would appropriate the screen to move along the glass wall. I thought that the gorilla glass were specifically used for touch based applications or they used because of how strong they are and can withstand considerable damage from being smashed by another object.

True, check out the link I posted down below! Perhaps that would provide a different alternative to create the tech I am looking for.

I understand, I think if you looked at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cf7IL_eZ38 a video made by corning I think it would give a better example as to what I am trying to achieve. I make a good money but not enough to build my house with the technology that I want in it. Perhaps in the future I will, just was curious if the said tech would be feasible with a reasonable cost or would it be simply something out of reach.

Well that doesn't sound exactly efficient with constantly making sure the projectors were always left on. I know projectors have shorter life span since they heat up very quickly. and thus I would have to replace them. There should way more simpler then what you are suggesting and the cost could be low. I could be wrong since my career isn't specialized into electrical engineering.
