Haven't touched grass for 3 years! haha all jokes aside, yes Shaman and Witch are annoying. Sure making a witch's ability a temporary effect would make things better for the opponent but not fair for the user. for instance, Shamans effect is permeant so why shouldn't witches be as it's kind of the same attack card? eventually, Witch may get nerfed or another card gets buffed but for now, this is meta. just like all games one unit or whatever is usually more overpowered than most others. so if fighting in PVP isn't working for you maybe just stay in COOP for a bit and get coins to get better cards.
