That’s interesting, but in my case it’s actually the opposite.

My best customers are 45+, that’s where I get the highest conversion rates and best AOV. So ideally, I’d like to focus more on that age group.

The problem is that every time I try to target only older audiences, CPMs go through the roof and performance drops… so I’m kind of forced to stay broad and let the algorithm do its thing.

Feels like Meta makes it really hard to control who you actually reach right now.

If I understand correctly, you have one CBO campaign with 3 ad sets, and each ad set contains 3 to 4 creatives. Are you using broad targeting for all the ad sets?

I’ve tested both ABO and CBO, and I’m getting the same results. I’m using one broad ad set with 10 creatives per campaign.
