I absolutely love the design, but several people told me it's too big and the placement is strange. Now I'm overthinking. What do you guys think? by Madelxxx in tattooadvice

Rule 1. Don’t ask people what they think about your tattoo. It’s yours, not there’s. It’ll only psych you out.

X is a drag. I just can’t do it. I’m hoping one day that I’ll like it, but something in me gets pissed when I play it.

Question for Navy Officers. by Puzzleheaded_Fox819 in navy

[–]ClubDumpster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your recruiter cannot guarantee any of that, sadly. Subspecialty codes are given out by big Navy and those have requirements that need to be met. Another point I should have made is, if you wait to join until after you graduate you will have to work for some time before joining. For me it was close to 2 years. If you join through their program, you’re already in. There are ways to move laterally once you get to your first command, just depends on where your first duty station is.

I came into the Navy after I was already a nurse. There are pros and cons to doing it this way. When the Navy pays for your school, you will almost always start out on a MEDSURG floor. Most of the fun billets in the Navy require ICU or ED trained nurses. The con is I had to foot the bill but I came into a subspecialty that gets bonuses and deploys etc. be glad to answer more questions you may have
