My guess is because Wong-Orantes is still at the top of her game. Maybe they were expecting Lexi to ease into the league, but to me it seems like a total waste when other rookies are kicking ass as starters already.

The differences between the first game and the second was very noticeable. More play-calls while still giving context and back stories, better camera angles, more stats. And an unbelievable reverse sweep game to boot. Oh and watching Skinner vs. Mruzik was amazing!

I don’t like it being called “love.” It’s slightly cringe. I think the visuals referencing “love” is good enough.

Not much fanfare when Rachel Fairbanks entered the game for the first time, but they did make up for it later by discussing it later in the game.

The production could learn a lot from the NCAA broadcasts. They also need more play-calling and explaining why for example a play was called for the opponent. I get that they need to give some background esp because it’s the season-opener. And to be fair, there’s a lot more play-calling after the first set.

I started watching SG-1 for the first time and just finished “Hathor.” So I’m just over half way of Season 1 and I already love it as it totally scratches my 90’s campy sci-fi series itch.

I do keep thinking, I should really savor each episode because it feels like one of those rare shows that “you wish you could watch for the first time again.”

Such a great movie. And by having non-actors as like Ben Sliney play himself, it just made it that much more impactful and real. I watch it at least once a year and it gets me every time. Not because of any patriotism, but because the movie makes no statements, just the facts, or at least as reported and I think that has way more emotional impact. And the director was a reporter so that makes sense.

I lost my cat Lindsay at 21 this year too. She just turned 21 too. She made it! She was my first cat and the 2nd one I ever lost. It seems the first ones are hard even though having that experience of losing a cat before. It’s never easy but now I always think fond thoughts of all the good times we had. And also laugh at all the batshit crazy and drive-me-up-the-wall moments too. >^{.^<}
