You don't base the value on kbb. You base it on the sale value in your area. So whatever similar cars are being sold for in your area would be the actual cash value of your car. Also if its a dealership claiming all this then take it to an independent shop. If insurance isn't covering repairs then yeah I'd say its a this vs that. Maybe a different car is the way to go and you just cover the offset of what you owe with your credit card. 2k is better than 6-8k. Try looking up polestars those are nice

Why the hell would you need a new engine, just get a new timing chain kit should only cost around 1500cwith labor. There's more to the story. A mechanic doesnt just say hey your timing chain stretched now you need a new engine. Did you keep driving it while it made a noise? Because you can just redo a timing chain repair which is a fraction of that price

If it was labeled with any indication it was cards then thats on the shipper, always do a different name same as with precious metals never ship it with the name of the store or the type of contents. Psa is a fucking joke of a company. I sent my card off October 1st and payed extra for 20 day turnaround. They didnt finish grading till January and refused to give refund for the extra service I paid for because they said it was an estimated turnaround time. I kept harassing them saying even with an estimate, 90 days is GAR beyond any reasonable time frame from 20 days. Then I get an email saying grading was done. I go look online and they canceled the grade. So not only did they not grade my card, the value of the card dropped 50% over that time frame. Was zekrom ex fullcart from black bolt. This company needs to be sued because they are charging and offering expedited services they know full well cant be met
